Victoria Shalvah Herzberg is from Houston, Texas.  Prior to graduate education, she taught science in middle school, then after earning MS and PhD degrees in genetics, she taught in medical school.  She did biomedical research for many years before studying a variety of art forms including original design knitting, pottery, and painting.

Victoria was selected to attend Vermont Artist's Week at Vermont Studio Center in 2005.  She joined Two Rivers Printmaking Studio (see artist images at TRPS) that same year.  Two of her paintings were selected for postcard announcements of VWS exhibit openings and in 2006, she became a signature member of VWS.  She recently self-published a book in collaboration with her husband, Our Land:  Prints and Poems.  Victoria’s work has been shown in many local venues as well as state-wide with VWS.
