Artists Bio:

Winter has always been my favorite season. Textures, shadows and details are exposed and the blanketing of snow adds a peacefulness to the land. The falling of snow is my signature style of painting as I feel it brings a certain ‘magic’ to my artwork.

Having moved to Vermont in ’73 and decades away from studying art at a Community College in Conn., 2002 I began taking watercolor classes and immediately fell in love with the mixing and fluidity of the paint and how it is absorbed into the paper. There is ‘adventure’ and excitement in painting.

I have shown my work in various libraries, hospitals and galleries and now split my time between professional gardening and painting.
