Working exclusively in the transparent watercolor media style, real places, real people, real life situations, applied with lively brushwork and glowing colors, reminiscent of the impressionist movement.
Artists Statement:
I studied Art and Architecture at Pratt Institute and The New School for Social Research in New York City. I have lived in Vermont for over 40 years, spending much of my time painting the Vermont countryside and trying to capture the simple small town life in and around the town where I live. Ive won several awards for my paintings, which have been sold to customers across the United States, and internationally. I have illustrated articles about antiques for Early American Homes magazine, and I am currently illustrating a book for a Vermont author.
