Maurie Harrington
Signature Member

People call Maurie Harrington "The Traveling Artist" and no one deserves the title more. Ms. Harrington has traveled everywhere: from the countries of Europe to the Islands of Indonesia, recently returned from a trip to Croatia, and coast-to-coast in the United States. She brings her art and inspiration to the groups of students and friends who travel with her around the globe. Everywhere she goes, Maurie carries with her an artist's perspective on the people and places she visits and paints. 

Artist
A watercolorist, Maurie exhibits widely throughout New England. Her studio is located in Killington, Vermont. She has her Masters degree in art from the University of Norwich, Vermont and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Hartford. Recent projects include sketches in "The Best of Gourmet" - 1999 edition Condé Nast Books; front covers on "The Islander" - South Hero; solo shows at Vermont Inn, Mendon VT, Killington Grand Resort Hotel, Killington, VT, Quechee Inn, Quechee, VT, Moonbrook Gallery, Rutland, VT, Fisk Farm, Isle LaMotte, VT. She has taught workshops in Greece. Maurie serves the community with watercolor workshops at local locations and in her studio. She is a member of the Vermont Watercolor Society, one of the founding members of the Killington Arts Guild, member of the Southern Vermont Art Center, Vermont Arts Council, Moonbrook Gallery, and Island Arts. 

Lecturer
Maurie Harrington is available to speak to your group about her art, her travels, and the people she meets along the way. She can present her art, photographs, or video to your audience. Recent trips and tours include:

Maurie Harrington has her original art and prints located in many of the Killington galleries, gift shops, and restaurants, as well as in Lake Champlain in local restaurants, gift and garden shops, and galleries.
