Anne Gordon began private lessons at age 12 with the curator at the Hyde Estate, now the Hyde Museum in Glens Falls, NY. She studied art at the University of Vermont graduating with both a BS and M Ed. Anne has studied watercolor in the US and UK with such painters as Zoltan Szabo, Jeanne Dobie, Betty Lou Schlemn, Don Getz, Carlton Plummer and others. She is a flower gardener. She has always lived in the north country and draws her inspiration from her gardens and mountain walks. Anne's paintings are in many private and corporate collections in the US and Europe. Anne is a signature member of the Vermont Watercolor Society.

A full time professional artist for the past 20 years: she makes her home in Shelburne, VT. Her work may be seen at the Milk Room Gallery in Jeffersonville, VT. This gallery has represented Anne for many years.
