Artists Bio:

Adrienne Fisher paints with watercolors as a way to capture the beauty of the world around her. She was helped to understand the concepts and techniques through the generous teachings of Vermont artists Lisa Beach of Stowe, Kathy Berry Bergeron of Jericho and Gary Eckhart of Warren, and Tony Conner of Bennington.

Vermont is the place that inspires her to visualize the colors and vibrancy of the environment. Traveling to other places also inspires her to capture those experiences through this medium. She strives to capture places that are familiar landmarks as well as places with foreign intrigue.

She enjoys the challenge of integrating the academic knowledge she’s gained, both formally and informally, with the spontaneous nature of the watercolor medium. Her work is representational, and she loves the straight, hard edges of man-made structures mixed with the ‘difficult to capture’ soft fullness of nature including people.

Adrienne has been included in several Vermont Watercolor Society juried exhibits, as well as the Bryan and Gruppe Galleries. She is a Signature Member of the Vermont Watercolor Society.
